There comes a time in life after raising children and putting all your time and energy into a family that is possibly no longer there, putting others first and your life on hold for countless years, when you eventually must say, I'm doing this and what I love, just for me. It may even mean saying goodbye to those in your circles who deny you the positives and recognition you deserve.

Some people can put themselves first easily and know what they want, while others will struggle with valuing themselves properly, tapping into what they really love doing and knowing what they are all about. Either way you will come to this bridge one day and will need to cross it.

You may regard this 'putting me first' thing as somewhat selfish in the beginning, however perhaps look at it more as self care and knowing thyself. The more you have given to yourself, the more you can give to others. You can rest assured that in time you will come to appreciate this as very necessary to advance your development and for your overall health and well being, so start getting back to your 'me' today.

With love, kindness and peace
Michael
